Ni hao! I am Chen Laoshi. I was born and grew up in Taiwan. I earned my Bachelor’s degree majoring in Management Information System and worked in the field a few years in Taiwan, but found my true passion in teaching! Therefore, I pursued my Master’s degree in Education with TESOL certification as well as obtained my teacher’s credentials in California. I have 13 years of teaching experience in the Mandarin immersion program and am always amazed by students’ abilities to absorb information and apply it in various settings. I enjoy seeing them grow academically and social-emotionally! In my leisure time, I enjoy traveling, hiking and outdoor activities with my husband and friends. More recently, I discovered my new interest in gardening!
